No offense but this guy sounds like your normal dealership idiot. Probably works there in parts, since they are usually the only ones who have access to the net and spare time to do so. As well if you look at his past posts he is alway posting up mitsu part numbers.

Matt let me know how it goes.

When I first saw this thread, I thought something like this would happen. You guys need to chill a bit. The original post was more of an informational thing than an attempt to slam the customer. It was more of a "Hey look what can happen", which is cool because it could provide good information to others out there and possibly help others to diagnose similar problems. I think that was his intention initially. Where he screwed up was by not getting the customer's permission before posting pictures of the damage to the plugs. Perhaps the customer felt embarassed and did not want others to know what happened to him? I don't know just a guess on my part. It doesn't help matters when others chime in and start ragging on the mechanic for trying to provide some useful information. I think it would be really cool if there was a forum where shops could show pictures of repairs they did on customers cars, including what went wrong and how to prevent it. Unfortunately most people are so sensitive they would take offense to it. It's too bad this couldn't have turned out to be a positive thing rather than a negative one.

The CHUMP deleted his posts..Probably to save his *** from losing the 8.00/hr lot monkey job..If someone did this at a dealer I brought my car to I would take legal action..I'm sure thats what he is afraid of at this point..
