^ I thought the same thing when I saw it. I don't see how that fmic is more effective than stock in any case.

It looks pretty thick...I need to measure the stock IC and compare...

They advertise it as a bar and plate as well; the stock one is just plain ole fins isn't it?

To me it looks almost smaller than stock? Any thoughts on this IC?
So you bought the car with the kit already on... how thick is it compared to stock and it does look a lil bigger...

The Ultimate Racing intercooler is bar and plate. That is one way to see how it's more effective than stock. It is also thicker and taller. So there's two reasons

I want to hear from people who have the Nisei with the stock turbo and how it affected things. Like I said before, I feel the Nisei is a little on the big side for the 16G.

Bar and plate does not have to mean better in all areas. I see your point though.

Buschur and AMS are the two best. Both cars run 10s 1/4 on these FMIC. The only downside is the price with AMS. $700 for the FMIC and $230 for the lower pipe. Just too much. You can get the Upper pipe, small battery and the FMIC from Buschur for the price AMS gives. You cannot fo wrong with Buschur.

AMS if you guys are reading this, let me remind you that the market sucks, gas prices are going up and up, people pay are going down and you guys won't even come to meet us half way. $930 + tax, for your setup is just too much. Do something like $750 for lower pipe and FMIC and you will have more people buying your product. It's a great product but the Price is too much....
