Need A Reflash Asap!

Im in the Southern California area and I need a reflash before Sunday because I’m putting my car on track at the Streets of Willow Springs. Where can I go to get my ECU reflashed in the So Cal area.

What kind of Re-Flash are you talking about or want? RMR in HB or XS Engineering or Road Race Engineering might have some ideas?

Noobie here lol, just got my EVO and it's bone stock. What different kinds of re-flashes are there? I thought there was just one basic re-flash for a stock EVO?

Flashing a ecu is to reprogram the 'brain' and take out the boost cut up high and raise the psi of the boost to 19+ and up. Safely!

All the companies that I mentioned either have this service or might know where to go. Depending on how soon you want it so you have to call and see if they can do it right away. I was just at RMR and they send you to Torrance to get the ecu flashed but the price they quoted was $595 or something like that?
Then again, if you are driving a stock Evo, you really don't need to flash your car just yet. It's plenty fast enough for the Streets of Willow. Are you going to Speedtrial event this weekend? If you are, I will be there too.

My car is stock with exhaust......for now

You might want to speak to Al at Dynoflash. You might consider the boost control flash.

Yea, I'll be there at Willow Springs on Sunday. Im one of 25 people that will be running in the beginners class. So you wouldn't flash a stock Evo? I heard that you get like 30 more HP plus higher boost PSI with a flash.

MyEvoStore which is in the Orange County area sell the WORKS P2 flash. You might consider asking them about a reflash for your car.

You might also consider contacting Road Race Engineering or Tuning Technologies for an SAFC/MBC tune for your car. Kent Jordan has been doing very well with his car on various tracks and that is what he runs.

Furthermore, you might want to check out www.socalevo.net and ask your question there. The guys there know all the local shops and can better direct you.

It's not that I wouldn't flash a stock evo. I meant you don't need it in such a hurry for this event. You can have a good time without it. Then take your time and research who to go to

MyEvoStore also does SAFC2 tuning, so if you decide to go that route, they can hook you up there too.

i wouldnt flash a stock evo, if its pretty new to you, get used to how it drives first, that way you know how the car is supposed to act if something goes wrong
