Go with the EVO, you won't be disappointed. I read that their side impact ratings weren't that great. It might not be safer that the Z, but your parents shouldn't complain about the size. There is plenty of room!

Ya they are *****es about test drives.. o well. Iam gonna go in, already got one arranged.

And ya the evo is bigger so that should swing the rents to buy.

Now how about the prices again?

Good choice on the swap. I like the look of the Z but its just to slow. Stock 1/4 at 14.3 .. about a full second slower than the evo.

Price out the GSR and the MR and see what you can get the dealer to do for you. If the MR is more than lets say 2k more I personally wouldnt get it. Your not getting anything performance wise except the blisten's so it would be nice to pocket the change and mod something.

I never had a problem test driving a evo even when I wasnt ready to purchase one... I did though have a problem with subbi as NO dealership in south florida would put me behind the wheel even when I was serious.

and even though it wasnt mentioned.. dont even look at a rx8. Roomie just bought one and I swear a astrovan is faster.

just go by the invoice $ on edmunds (it doesn't include destination) and ask dealer to sell for that. and DO NOT fall for their "how much r u willing to pay a month" thing. just keep insisting on a specific price and APR (if u'r financing).

i don't get why ppl rag so much on rx8. i mean, s2000 isn't exactly a torque monster either, u know? rx8 doesn't have a turbo, hence lack of torque, plain and simple. but that thing makes up with its handling. i'll once again give facts about that car as i usually do when it gets ragged on: on top gear's track rx8 had SAME lap time as E46 M3, yes M3, and faster lap time than Z, so hush! zoom zoom zoom! oh and my friend has rx7, so obviously i know that one's better.

Since you already have a 350z, stick with it and drop in a greddy turbo kit you should be happy with it. i drove my dads greddy tt equipped z and it was awesome. nice power in all gears (especially when tha twins kick in), reliable so far no problems whatsoever. when you start it up smooth just like stock with some substantial power it made 329hp with 300ftlbs tq. on the dyno at the rear wheels. Who wouldnt be happy with those numbers (i would) that was at 6pounds of boost on 91. Make the best of what you got i dont think its an ugly car the only thing i hate is looking in the rear view mirror it seems like you have to slouch down to get a good look at your rear other then that it's awesome.
