Oh Boy

I haven't been on the forum lately because i haven't had my car for like a month now. But the interesting thing is why I don't have my car. I Recently bought my EVO used. I noticed some grinding on the 5th gear synchro. So I brought my car in to have it covered under warrenty. It took them 2 and a half weeks but I finally got my car back. It was sweet for the first 15 minutes until a horrible noise ( High - Pitched, hurt my earts it was so bad) So I'm thinking oh jeez, these bastards forgot to put transfer case fluid in. Brought the car back the next day told him what I thought it was. They call me back and were like ahhh yeah your bearing went on your driveshaft, we will order the part. Week goes by call them. Asked if the art came in yet, Oh No the guy says, hopefully tomorrow. I hang up. Then 10 minutes later. Hello Mr. Smith I'm affraid i got some bad news that part we need for your car is on back order. It wont be shipped out till June 8th. I;m ****ing heated by this point. Cause i new these guys were feeding me bull****. The bearing went cause there was no transfer case fluid. I want a new Transfer case I'm thinking, nut i dont say anything yet. So I call my buddy that works for Mitsu at another dealership hes like ahh here call this number. It's Mitsu Headquarters, I file a compliant. This was like a week and a half ago. Finally i get a call today from the dealer and they were like ahh yeah Mr Smith with just recieved your compliant from Headquarters, and umm well we actually double checked before we got the compliant which was BS and was like yeah you need a new transfer case its not the bearing. Your car will be ready tomorrow. Oh Boy. So the dealer really ****ed up basically. And thats my story, I'll let you guys know how the car is when i get i back. Later

I am so happy that my dealership is the way it is. I have had no problems with them and my friends are the same. The only bad experience I've ever had was when one sales guy tried to tell me that the best/only improvement about the MR edition evo is the wheels, (which is more funny than annoying since he did not stay employed there very long).

Good to hear all is working out for you though!!
