I heard that AMS 3000 synthetic oil is better than the Mobil-1. Well, I've been using mobil-1 till now and I might change it to AMS if its true. What do you guys think?

Comparing what gas everyday nimrods put in their everyday vehicles to high-quality oil is a bit pretentious...
Also, you're 2 orders of magnitude off, which makes it statistically insignificant...

there was a thread on this a couple weeks ago and someone pointed out just how bad the mobil is compared to other top brands. basically mobil has gotten it's reputation through marketing and not performance. i'll see if i can find the link to it.
