Question Down Pipe question

Does just adding a 3'' downpipe add a noticeable difference in power? Also, would I need a tune after doing this?

Current mods:

3'' Catback
drop in filter
BOV
EBC (19psi)

Thanks,

With the stock cat and catback, a 3" dp would not have major gains if any. David Buschur said that you always want to start from the back whenever upgrading exhausts. But it looks like you already have a 3" catback, so you'd probably see a good gain. i'd get a highflow or catdelete pipe as well and then you'd be set. You don't have to get a tune, but it's recommended.

Thanks guys! I think I'll go with the downpipe and maybe a highflow cat. We still have to pass emissions here so I don't want to go catless.

Any other suggestions to get my whp up? Just not sure what the next step is.

I would like to get a flash done but there's no one in my area (Cincinnati) to do it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

^^^ i dont know what ur tlaking about with the 359 to the wheels with a turboback. I just installed my dp 2 days ago and i already had a 3in catback with no cat and it does increase torque noticably. it pulls u back in ur seat harder than before. As for a tune, i'm gonna wait until i get some more mods so i dont have to reflash anytime soon
