U feel obligated to mod your Evo?

I don't know about u guys but sometimes I feel I have an obligation to modify my evo, just because it is an evo. I don't mind it, I like modding my car but its almost like ppl expect it to be modded. Just wondering if anyone feels the same.

It's a sickness......sometimes in a good way....and sometimes in a bad way. It's cool to have a kick *** car but when it breaks because you F'd something up or blow out a clutch at the track it sucks! I suppose if I didn't mod I wouldn't track and therefore save myself a lot of $$$$. But a hell of a lot of fun 90% of the time.

yeah, you'll get those "what have you done to it" statements...even if it looks stock or if it has 50 grand in the car. I don't mind, I love moddin all my cars...it seems nowadays everything has to be modded

I just have the need... well before, but evo's fairely complete car. I don't feel obligated to mod any more than fuel tune, free flowing exhaust and something to control the boost.

and a lot of suspension mods.

I drive the stock evo's now, and you know, the cars really refined and it's not bad.

It's a lot more quiet, a lot more comfortable than the modded ones. But really the power does lack and that thrill of hearing the roar of the full throttle is missing.

It's good either way. It's an Evo!

I think about modding everyday. I love cars and racing so I guess its normal that it is all I think about with my own car! However, its worse than any drug!!!! Cant stop thinking about it.. costs a lot of money!!!!

I'm with you. There is not a car I have ever owned that I didn't do something to within the first couple days. I just picked up my 03' and within 1 week it will have tint,Ultimate TBE,intake and a DynoFlash

The car already has Tein springs and a short throw shifter so it saved me a few mods.

it is an addiction and a very expensive one too. I am just happy to have a wife that loves cars as I do. The STI and 89 Mustang in my signature are her cars
