funny warranty void quote!

ok so was searching around some audio forums and sound this.

" Mr. Howard, we will no longer be able to continue warranty on ANY cabin or trunk located equipment due to the excess of stereo equipment. It is believed that the violent shaking and pressure inside the cabin that it is the fault of you subwoofers, NOT mitsubishi, that your moonroof malfunctions. It is also believed that the rearview mirror that broke off was also a direct product of your current sound system." -

i just thought it was the funiest thing ever!! lol oh well

makes me want to trade my mitsu back for my M3, cause of all the warranty issues

It's entirely possible though, that they are correct.

OTOH it'd be in their best interest to just FIX THE GOD DAMN CAR. 'Course we know that isn't going to happen.

So they have a legitimate reason not to warranty something on your car and you are looking for a way to scam them. In addition to that, you are also saying that because they are holding up to their end of the contract, you're upset enough to think about trading the car in?

Screw it, trade the car in so that someone else can buy it and enjoy it for what it is.

so they can give us a system for our car and it's fine. but if i put in my own it's not? i enjoy driving the car. but if my sunroof goes out. even though i dont have one. but say someones were to go out because i had sub it's my fault? i have had a sub on EVERY car that i have owned, the evo is the only car taht didnt have a sunroof. and if im driving normally and the sunroof goes out. id better hope the dealer will fix that ****. i mean it's not like it's that hard of a job. if a dealer can't warraty my sunroof. then i dont see what the warranty is for. im not trying to scam the dealerships. even though they scam us all on the price of the car. i just want to be fair. and if they say it's my sub. ill take it out go somewhere else and get it done there. fair is fair. they scam me i scam back. like works that way. and if you think they are holding up their end of the contract. find something to break on your car that should be fixed on warranty and tell me if they fix it? maybe in italy they are truthful. but in the U.S there is no such thing as a truthful stealership

warranty is for factory defects under normal driving circumstances.

you put an aftermarket heavy-duty sub, thus broke the factory part. it is your fault.

any alteration to affect the normal daily operation of your vehicle will not be cover by the warranty. (no one knows how loud and heavy you play your sound system)

grow up and learn to take care your own responsiblity.

hey it aint my **** that broke i just found that quote online. but hey if sound is going to kill my ride. then so be it. ill find a way to scam the stealership. and if you tell me to grow up and take care of my own reposiblity, i hope you also direct that to president bush'es gay ***. i swear by the time iraq is done. the race will be too.

and btw how does listening to radio affect driving? what exactly is normal driving circumstances? there should be a description to what "normal" driving circumstances are. and for you information. if vibration can rip a wire apart making it faulty. then the wire should have been in the car in the first place.

i had a 98 m3. i had a choice of getting the new m3 or getting the evo. i chose evo cause it's an easier upgrade path as well as alot cheaper. but with my 98 m3 it had low miles so it was still on warranty. any wiring defects were all taken care of by bmw. i had a sub in my car. my windows wouldnt' roll down no more. took it to bmw, no questions asked, fixed free of charge. now if mitsu is going to reject my warranty cause of a sub. and THEIR faulty wiring screw it. ill take my m3 trade my evo to my mom and get my m3 back. btw i sold my m3 to my mom.

this is ridiculous. A mirror should not fall off because of subwoofers. Mitsu needs to address this under warranty.

All you guys that are supporting Mitsubishi are on crack. Too many evo fanbois on this forum. The car is great, but not perfect.

naw i dont think that they are evo fan boys. but just rich *** people that dont need the warranty and can pay for the damage themselves. so when us poor car enthusiasts expect more out of our dealer. they get mad cause they think we are *****ing, when in actually we are just speaking our mind. This is the reason, poor people get poorer and rich people get richer
