280 miles is the most I got including the light!

Vegas to LA on 1 tank, couple hundred pounds of tools/wheels, and the occasional boost with the Porsche that was with me.

Probably could have hit 300 if I was off the boost.

My light usually comes on with ~12 gallons used up. Good enough for a rough estimate, but in my original post, I used the actual amount filled.

Cool, glad to hear it. I thought from the way you posted you were relying on the low fuel light to come on at exactly some specific number of gallons left.

You got 25.7 mpg, so that isn't that bad... I thought you were getting like 20 mpg or something

i wish i could get over 290 miles to a tank. but from full to 1/4 tank i get about 200 miles, maybe a little more, mostly city driving. i have never gotten 300 miles to a full tank, even when i drive mostly on the highway.

My highest is 23.98mpg and worst is 20.5mpg. I'm sure if you followed the manuals recommendation "to optimize fuel economy slow to 55", it could be somewhat better, but who wants to get run over by an old lady in an oldmobile cutlass?

on Sunoco 94 i get 190- 210 per tank then i put in about 12 gallons

on HESS 93 i get about 230-250 per tank (know i could have got more) and put in 11.5 gallons

Why the better mileage on the HESS?

the EVO has a 14 gallon tank right?

i think flash helped on my average home to work to home weekday mpg.

i used to get like 14mpg, now it's up to 26mpg.

it's just that, i can't keep the boost in check, at 22.5psi, I could burn the gas in a day if I wanted to or within 2 hours.

I'm not talking bump drafting or the type of drafting you would do on a racetrack to get the slingshot effect... a semi's trailer pokes a pretty decent sized hole in the air, and the decrease in wind resistance is noticable when you are 50-100ft behind the truck.
