How do you guys get the damn bugs off the intercooler after a drive on the highway? I don't want to damage the intercooler with high pressure water!

I've had this since day one on mine, and I have few if any dents from rocks, and the big bugs can't make it through this screen. And I live in Colorado...

+2!!! but yah high pressure water unless you preffer bug guts. the water wont do anything other than possibly cool your engine down if you've been running really hard on a hot day

I haven't noticed a difference with the screen on/off. I'd say if you were going to the track, yeah take it off. But for driving around town, can't beat it.

I just use a scrub brush and brush them off. Go with the grain of the fins and don't push too hard and no harm done.

I just use a high pressure water sprayer to get the bugs off my intercooler. I hate bugs, but I hate rocks and gravel more.

I did this 3 weeks after purchasing my EVO. I got tired off getting bugs and straw (yes straw) in the intercooler also bent fins due to rocks and road construction debris. I havn't noticed a decrease in cooling.

I didn't like the look of the intercooler on my eclipse after driving it awhile without protection. This is a cheap and worthwhile investment.
