Sideways

Special thanks to Pruven Performance for creating the amazing new turbo set up and also to Buschur Racing for supplying all the materials and giving me the idea for the new turbo.

Also - thanks to www.iveytune.com and Exedy Racing Clutch.

Well so far I have about 40 dyno pulls and 6 trips to the track on the triple carbon Exedy Clutch and it has held the power with no problems what so ever. It has been in use since last July's DSM shootout - (almost a year now)

Notice the BJ's manifold has the innovative feature wherein the manifold can accept a stock throttle body with the supplied adapter plate or its also drilled and taped for a mustang throttle body

Notice the four small holes on the face that the trottle body bolts to ?

Those four holes apparently are direct boost leaks and will now need to be pluged (mky oversight)

I am very optomistic that the car was able to hit 630 whp with four holes in the manifold

Also - its nice to know that the rod bearings and engine internals are all 100%

Back onto the dyno tomorrow or wed

Maybe I just do not know what I am looking at, but are you running two wastegates? It looks like there is one on the left and the righth side of the manifold.....
Better boost control?

Actually the concept is to duplicate the factory twin scroll set up - the turbo has a divided turbine housing like the factory turbo (only slightly larger in scale)

The stock igition is good for over 500 whp. However, the AEM which I am using requires an upgraded ignition when you go over 30 psi of boost.

Did you ever make it back to the dyno to see what it made with the holes plugged? Maybe with a little more boost

What class are you going to run in? And isn't it time to just gut your interior and go for broke?

I plan to run in the same clases I have been in for tha past year. I have no intentions to gut the interior - its a street car that I still run on the road.
