I was driving the car yesterday and I hit 6000 rpms through the gears. In 4th, I suddenly sensed a loss in power and the car would not boost past 14psi. The MBC is set for 20.5.

I pulled over, checked all hoses and connectors etc. All of them were intact. Started it up again and all is fine, it boosts to 20.5 now. No repeat of power loss.

Could it have been a stuck MBC? If not, what else? Any ideas?

Vishnu Downpipe
Vishnu High Flow Cat
Bushur cat back
Dynoflash
Ralliart drop in filter
Dejon Tool Turbo Connector
JDM MR Diverter Valve
Perrin Boost Tube

 

Do you still have your snorkel hooked up? If so, do you have the clips for it?

I have had the Dynoflash for a month now and never had a problem.
I tried quite a few runs today also. No problems. Boost held at 20.5 psi

 

probably some ecu dynoflash glitch. keep us posted if it happens again

 

yeh ecu flash problem.

it would boost 20 psi on the 1st and 2nd gear. it's set for 22.5 psi.

then it'll boost up to 21.5 on 3rd gear. 24 psi on the 4th gear, then 21 psi on 5th gear.

i have a hallman, and it's never been this inconsistant...

 

Mine boosts consistantly between 20 and 21 psi in all gears. There is a spike once in a while to 22.
