stock carbon wing getting spots

My stock carbon fiber part of the wing is getting spots. Really white spots like the clearcoat is going on it and even some of the intercorner of the wing is degrading. I took it to a body shop and they said the clear coat is going bad and is progressing.

This is what is starting to happen to my wing:

Sorry for the repost..I wanted to add the pic

Mine is doing the same exact thing as yours. It seems lots of EVO wings and brake calipers do this same thing. Try taking it to your dealer and see if they will warranty it. Most people are getting turned down but there have been a few that have gotten these parts replaced under warranty.

warranty

Thats my next thing..i'm just worried about my warranty of course with my aftermarket intercooler/exhaust that they won't try to screw me just because i have some mods and this problem is totally cosmetic.

They shouldn't bother looking at that. They have replaced many wings like this.

works

I'm gonna talk to works and probably goto san rafeal mitu for this. It has nothing to do with midifications to the car. The body shop told me this is truly a factory defect and should be replaced under warranty. If not he'll put it in writing for me and then contact the BBB.

It's a factory defect. Some of the '03 wings were made by this one company that sucked at doing it.

Mine is on order. They will take care of it if you bring your car in.
