Question Water Wetter results

Does the Water Wetter really works?
Does the Water Wetter harm the temperature sensor?

I put one bottle and couldn't notice a decrease in the temperature.

I ve used watter wetter for as long as i can remember and it works!!

We did a test at my old shop with my mx race quad its a honda trx 250r with an esr 310 kit.

I installed an esr temp gauge and tested wetter wetter/ distilled water vs colant/distilled water.

Temp varied 12-20 degrees cooler with water wetter

I have used water wetter for the last 4 years in my race bikes and have never had any sensor problems. It works well in my book.

Hmm, I should try this stuff out. There is no winter here, we just have 2 seasons: Hot, and not quite as hot.

The engine will still run the same temp due to the thermostat doing its job. The thermostat is still what regulates coolant temp and it will still open at the same temp. Water Wetter is just supposed to give better protection. If you didnt have a thermostat and the coolant temp was just allowed to get as hot as it can, it would be cooler with Water Wetter. At least according to Redline it would.

On a side note, running cooler is not necessarily a good thing. Cars are made to run at the temp they run for a reason. If its too cold, you will get sludging in the engine among other problems. If the car would perform better when colder, Mitsu would have made it run cooler.
