You must have gotten lucky. You are the only one that I know of that got theres installed. The rear on mine would go on, but it was up against the bar and actually the bar lifted the downpipe up when you tightened the bolts down. That is not good, over time the tapped holes will strip out.

If the front one on your car is on, but slanted, what do you mean by that?

Do you have spacers on one side? If it is against the downpipe, that is no good. That is why people are wanting a new solution, to rid themselves of the knocking on the downpipe under certain conditions. Other people just couldnt install the lower arm bars at all (like me). That is why I designed these, so I could have the same bracing capability, decent looks, and the downpipe will never rattle. As you can see from the pictures I have no interference problems at all, and most Invidia downpipes hang very low. Like I said earlier in this post, I had to use 6 washers on each side of the front bar to get it installed. That is about 1/2". The rear bar required 4 washers on each bolt hole to get clearance on it. These are the numbers that I used when designing this piece. People with problems installing them can check to see how many washers it takes to clear there bars and this will tell them if my bars will work. The washers are standard 3/8" flat washers from Lowes or any hardware stores. I dont believe any one makes a downpipe that these bars wont work with.

If you have the Invidia DP, I know these will work without a doubt unless something is messed up with your car. The Perrin front bar may work, I dont know for sure how much additional clearance it gives. If I was guessing, I would think that it would not be enough for most of us, but in your case, I think it would work. The RMR brace, I heard works too, but some people dont like its design. They both are over $150, and the Perrin is just the front bar.

Thanks
