Hey man,

I dont know you from cranberries, but going down to a Type S doesnt mean that much of anything. When you have some extra cabage, go over to CybernationMotors.com and see the SICK SICK SICK things they have done with the Acura Type S, I mean they have pulled some sick numbers... Call and ask for Lee, tell him Esmith told you to call...

Good referals to work with if you want to mod your car is, EPHATCH.COM, and a very very good vendor called ***************.com they have ALL Acura/Honda parts you want.

Its funny I just got rid of my TypeS for a EVO, and your gettin rid of your EVO for a TypeS.

I have a stage 2 cutch in her now (the evo) what shopuld be the next major mod?

good luck man!

E

Turbo Back Exhaust and a MBC should be your next mod, imo.

My plans for the Type S is to keep it stock power wise (so I can stay in the stock class for track days), but rework the brakes and tires.

Thanks for the heads up about the tuners, I'll keep them in mind in case I want to make the Type S as fast as my Evo.

That's sad. I would have put my EVO in storage and ridden my bike instead. There'd be no insurance, maintenance, or licensing expenses, and when the misery was over, you'd still have an EVO as well as being fit enough to run up Kilimanjaro.

Integra is my 2nd car. I think Acura's service is better than Mitsubishi.

what are you talking about man? if u stage 1 with major mods on a type s it will choke a evo. the type s has a very strong engine too, swap it with a type r and you'll have fun. just congrat the guy for doing what he HAS to do, instead of doing what he WANTS to do. there are things in life that are more important then cars sometimes, like your FAMILY!

In case anyone is wondering, my first mods for the Type S will a Type R badge [/QUOTE]

Wow...an immediate extra 10 horsies there!

My girfriend owns a 2003 Type S and it feels like crap after driving the EVO. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good car. It just doesn't feel the same.

Have fun with it!

Good luck! If you still plan on modding a car period then should have kept the EVO. Buy the S so you don't have to mod and spend $$$.

I don't want to ride my SC SI anymore after driving the evo with mods. Too much bolt-on and AF craps to run 13-14 in 1/4.

The RSX really isn't a bad car, and a glorified civic? I don't think so. If you're going to mod, I would definitely make increased traction the first hurdle. LSD ( I don't know if it comes with one...), coilovers, sticky tires, etc. and then work on power upgrades, that way you'll be ahead of yourself where traction is concerned (which will be nice considering what you're coming from).
