I also read about this on the newspaper. I have Allstate Insurance with a clean, spotless record and I was paying $732 every 6 months. Hopefully I get a good discount also

my record has been spotless for over 3 years now. when i tred my eclipse in my insurance went down from 270 to 250. when i installed my alarm it went down to 230. then last month it randomly went back to 250. WHAT THE F*CK! thats not fair :<

they told me it would lower and it just stayed the same. ******

I'd follow up on that. Make sure there aren't errors or mistakes. That's cool it's cheaper, but you don't want to be stuck with a ridiculous final payment.

I did, I just called to check. I'm not dreaming. I have 2 other cars on the policy as well as being a part of my family policy helped out alot. I have had a spotless record and yes the car is in my name with a family member as a co-signer. I'm through a private company here in town, however i also have to say that knowing someone REALLY helps out and we've been with this company for years now. I hate to admit but like anything else its not what you know (or do) its who you know.
