I was just driving home from Westwood in LA and when I was getting on the 405 South I crossed an intersection at a GREEN light (Wilshire going West under the 405) and the Red light Camera goes off--the light was definitely Green.

I wondered if maybe it was a speed camera, but I was only doing 40 (I checked my speedo just before I looked up a the GREEN light and cruised through the intersection as the lights flashed) and I think the speed limit is at least 35 there.

Anyway, as far as I know there are no SPEED cameras.

Anyone ever had this happen?

If they send me a ticket how can I fight it?

 

If all they have is a picture of you doing the speed limit through a green light I wouldn't worry about it.

 

i had this happen to be in montebello (near the san gabriel if ur familiar with LA)
the cameras just flash but nothing ever happened so i think its cool as long as u didnt break any laws

 

might be because you were in a certain lane where they think you're running the red while turning... that happens... but yeah i know the intersection you're talkin' about.
