Everybody in the Houston area, if you don't already know there are gonna be some new camaras at intersections.

Subject: New Traffic Light Cameras
Starting Sept.1st
Traffic cameras = $75 ticket

Here are the locations of the new cameras that will automatically issue
a $75 ticket if you are caught running yellow or red lights...good idea
to sloooow down...and yes, the cameras will capture a picture of you,
and the FRONT SEAT PASSENGER and it will be a VERY CLEAR PICTURE. They
will issue a warrant for your arrest if you fail to appear in court.
This is not a civil penalty but an actual traffic citation, Class C
Misdemeanor, and will affect your driving record.

The first 10 camera locations are:
1 - Richmond at Dunvale
2 - Bellaire at Wilcrest
3 - Harwin at Hillcroft
4 - Milam at Elgin
5 - Brazos at Elgin
6 - JFK at Greens
7 - Bay Area Boulevard at El Camino Real
8 - Travis at Webster
9 - Pease at LaBranch
10 - Hillcroft at Richmond

i took a tour of the place that has all the monitors for the whole city, it was pretty cool watching ppl, i got to see a wreck, wasnt a bad wreck tho.
they told us about these, but never got to get where they were. thanks for the heads up on this one.

we're all gonna get tickets for running yellow lights then =[ I thought yellow was slow down not stop =[ i guess that means its now slow down... until its eventually red then you have to stop

 

green = Go

Yellow = Go Faster!!!! (21.5 Psi of Boost, Wide open throttle)

Red = You Gonna DIE if you don't stop!

FWIW: I go through the Hillcrift@Harwin frequently, and for the past few months my radar detector has been going beserk. Ka-band, X-band, everything. I was like, WTF? I now suspect it's the cameras.
