other day i was driving my chevy pickup with my friends bro in the back and he said we hit a bird on the side some how but the point is we probly hit em all the time with out knowing.

I've heard many people referr to them as "Bird Catcher" hood scoops. lolol that thing is like a vaccum cleaner for birds

I had a dove hit my B pillar while my window was open in my 93 GSX.. Goin about 60.. All I heard was a loud thunk and feathers were circulating all around the cockpit!! I looked over and right on my passenger seat was half of this blob of guts, the other half was in my backseat!!! Guts all down the side of the car and on the inside too!!! NASTY!!!

I took a bird on my knee while travelling at ~90mph on my motorcycle, crossing west Texas on my way to school. For the rest of the day I didn't get off the bike, was sure something was broken and I wouldn't be able to walk or get back on. Turned out nothing was broken (well, on me - the bird was rather worse for wear), but it sure felt like it.
