I'd Hit It
I'd Hit It
It was an interesting morning for me today. About 5 minutes after leaving my house, I hit a bird
. It hit right on the driver side wiper and cut the thing up and splatters up on the windshield. I can see some of the bird's guts stuck on the wiper. It took a couple seconds for me to get myself together. I decided to turn on the wipers and tried to clean it off but that was a mistake. It did clean the windshield a bit, but at the same time, it was dragging the bird's guts back and forth. I end up pulling into the gas station and clean up the mess.
Here are 2 pics taking with my camera phone:

I hit a bird once, but it hit my front grille at about 20mph, so it just bent the grille in. The bird didnt fricken explode like that one did, thank god, otherwise i probably would have puked. How long did it take you to clean it up?

A local guy hit a goose with his Accord. Not only did it mess up his bumper and radiator, it damaged the oil pan, all the oil drained out of the engine, boom. $2500 later he's back on the road.

I just wiped down quickly since I was on the way to work. I will have to clean out the wiper more. Another thing that almost made me puke was the smell of it. I could smell it after getting back on the road.
I hit a bird once in my 87 mustang. I was on my way to the track too. The bird hit the right front head light. You would have thought I hit a pillow. Feathers went everywhere. There were feathers wrapped around my windshield wipers, antena, radiator, grill, etc.
When I went through tech, the tech inspector laughed at mess the bird had made. I still passed tech.

I hit one of those miniature sized pigeon looking birds once, those birds are just stupid, it had a good 5 seconds to get out of the way, or if it just stayed on the road and I'll just run over and it'll still be fine but no, the bird decided to fly off at the very last moment, and it hit my car around the right headlight, all I saw was a pile of feathers flying off...
