Are you serious about the alcohol? I can understand the chuncks of ice, but won't vodka, whiskey, etc damage or clog the spayer nozzles after time. Plus won't that make your car smell like it's a struggling member of AA?

Not that type of Alcohol.... METHANOL M1 won't freeze ( -144 is freezing temp so i think u'll be alright ) but then its a waste cuz you might as well be injecting that into the engine itself... just use the windshield cleaner. cheap and effective.

alcohol base fluid is better , which is why they suggest wiper fluid small amount of ETOH . cheap and very clean. rubbing ETOH is better it has a better cooling effect. you would love to spray CO2 this will really lower the temp but its impracticle as a daily use item . distill water is fine but not better than Wiperfluid.
