rollcage question
^ What I'd worry about that roll bar is that there aren't enough attachment points to ensure that it wouldn't just punch through the floor in a roll-over type accident. It would be better than not having anything, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

Yup, thats a real rally style roll cage. These other ones for sale are for occasional track days or added protection. Yes, if the cage wasn't bolted down or anchored in the proper spots, it would just puncture right thru the car or end up bending and hurting you badly. If I were going the rally route, I'd get some nice skid plates covering the bottom of the car too.

You should explain in more detail why you want to have a roll bar or cage in the car. Some organizations will allow a removable link here or there but all pretty much require the main hoop and forward bars to be permanently welded or bolted to the chassis. This is not a simple undertaking.
So why do you want one?

I just wanted one for added stability and safety during track days. I dont need one, thats why i was asking if there were any that allowed for use of the back seat.
I had hopes of using the back seat, so I had a removable rollbar made. I took the bar out to paint it and it has never been out again. in fact I take the passenger seat out instead of the roll bar to put track tires in the back seat area.
after you see how much room is left, putting someone in the back seat seems like a possible death sentence

I see no cross bars and the front bar has bends in it.
That would probably hurt you more from folding on you in a accident then if you didn't have it at all.
None of those rollbars are NHRA legal either for 11.499 to 10.000 ET. Im in the process of looking into a rollbar so I can run my evo at the dragstrip without getting booted, while also keeping atleast enough clearance in the rear door area to get my child seat in and out.

Stick with a custom roll bar, dont bother with any bolt in type cages(cusco, autopower), they will do more damage than good.
Here's some pic's of mine.
In the 1st pic I moved the seats back so you guys could get a better view, my head is normally nowhere near the halo.
