A lot of those parts are replacement parts due to normal wear. Not upgrades to good OEM parts.

Yeah, I know. You see it all the time, but I try to let 'em know. Hopefully, a bunch of them will read this thread.

I had a custom tuned road flash for all my mods. Then i added the injen intake and upper ic piping without a flash. So don't think im modding my car all up and not tuning it. So keep you smart *** immature comments to yourself.

Umm, yeah, but adding the injen didn't do you any good and only took away power. All the previous mods with the custom tune were awesome. If you now have a mail-in flash instead of a custom tune, you're worse off than you started and short $500, but at least the pipes look nice.

It may seem crazy but its fun as heck !

The coolest thing about my job is seeing the individual expression of the customers in which mods they select for their car and how they set it up.

Also cool is noting all the varying packaging methods which are employed when I get the through the mail flahses - some people are really creative.

When you are a car guy you can really respect and admire the creative expression of your fellow hobiest.

This is one of the main reasons why when I started Dyno Flash I had the idea to develop a massive library of base maps for virtually every possible modification combination out there and tailor the tune to match the parts which the customer's choose.

With that said - I could not agree with you more that in many cases poor parts selection results in adverse operation and poor functionality. Of course, follwoing the advice of a respected tuner - such as Buschur Racing with the stage 1 - 4 packages is a great way to get a well running car - BUT - then your car is just like all the other Buschur stage cars.

Somwhere there has to be a balance between individual experimentation and going with the proven and reliable combinations.

In any event - thanks to the original poster for your nice comments - they made my day.
