How much is a Clutch install usually??

My clutch is starting to slip. I am noticing that it doesn't grab like it used to. I plan on getting the ACT clutch w/ PS flywheel from logicperformance. It's going around $730.00. How much should I be expecting to spend on the clutch install?

I live in MN. so if anyone knows of a good place to go. Please let me know. Thanks..

$1000 at a Mitsu dealer...$500 at a tuner.

Ditto on the 500 bucks.

Warrtalon and I both have MRs with the ACT set-up (I don't know which flywheel he went with, I kept my stocker. RRE charged me 500 for labor plus 50 for the ACD line.

I kept the stocker, but I was told I couldn't reuse the previous one. There is no spec given by Mitsu for resurfacing the stock flywheel, so there is no way to know how much to shave. On top of that, I had major hotspots and the flywheel was a mirror, so they would potentially have had to shave it down too far to be useful. Either way, the master tech said that since the flywheel isn't designed to be resurfaced, the clutch engagement dynamics would be thrown out of whack if we did it. So, I got a new OEM flywheel instead. I could have gotten the act + lightened flywheel deal, but I was not keen on having a lightened flywheel in daily, bumper-to-bumper traffic, nor was I keen on later drivetrain warranty claims with one in there, although they were willing to install it without automatically denying claims later...I was just unsure of it.

I paid to have the dealer do it, because I was worried about a local shop doing it that had never dealt with the ACD, and I wanted all the work to be fully warrantied and guaranteed, but I sure paid out the *** for it. I guess I paid for piece of mind, but too bad it cost more than all my power mods combined. Oh well, I knew that was a risk when I dragged the hell out of it to get those 12.2s.

RRE resurfaced mine, but they know their Evos.
