Gound Wire Question?

I installed a set of gounding wires and now when I rollup the windows I see the lights on the instrument panel dim. Is this suppose to happen? I have checked all the points and everything looks right.

ya know, i don't think it happens on mine...but it could. When does this happen? Is the car actually on or do you just have the key turned a bit? If it's the later I would assume it would do that since it's strictly battery power....

Did you tighten them up pretty good, that shouldnt be normal! My lights seemed to get brighter!

It only happens when I am sitting at idle and getting ready to turn the car off. When I roll up both windows I notice the lights on the instrument panel dim. It is not a lot but noticable. I did not notice this until I installed the wombat grounding kit.

When I installed one the wires it instructed to install on the back engine mount located on the engine block. I did not reinstall the hanger due to I could not get it back on with the gounding wire. I wounder if this has anything to do with it. Maybe it is not getting a proper connection.

Don't sweat it! Side effects like that are worth it for the 30whp you gained...

Warrtalon is just skeptical haha! Well I know with my grounding kit I have a better idle, the AC doesn't bog my car down nearly as much as it did before, and the extra bonus is are my HIDS are SUPER bright now

Do you have an aftermarket stereo? Check that ground location. Pull out your stereo and test your problem.
