loosing boost...

loosing boost...

ok, now my psi is down to 16.3 psi, at first i thought it was normal because of the humidity but damn, isnt that WAY too low? i mean, its not even that humid! what should i do?

check all your hose connections

did it drop in one day?
what psi were you running before?
do you have an mbc or ebc?

yeah ill just the hoses, is it just the hoses from the intake mani to the fmic?
im pretty sure it didnt, i just deicided to check it the other night,
it used to go to 18psi,
no i dont.

dont you have a boost gauge that you can check every time you drive your car?

its acutally on my turbo timer, and to see it i kinda have to lean forward and so i dont really look at it. im gonna get a boost gauge when i get my flash

Dude...as much as every EVO VIII owner wants to believe 19psi is expected stock, it's not true...expect anything from 14psi to 17psi stock...until I tuned my EVO VIII with ECUtek, I was spiking 1.3 to 1.4 bar, but holding 1.2 bar STOCK at WOT...a better recirculation kit is in order and check your MAF, may need to be cleaned...

I have an aftermarket induction kit, so removal of the MAF is rather easy...Unfortunately, I don't recall want cleaning product Rich used...It is just 4 bolts and the MAF pops off...just clean the screen off...
