I bought the Evo becuase it has 4 doors, room, and trunk space, I would have picked something else but this was the most practical purchase.

I bought the Evo for it's incredible performance in accelerating, braking, and handling, the number or doors and other practical amenities didn't really matter to me.

Both played an equal roll in my decision to get the Evo

Practicality or Performance?

Just as the title states, I'm wondering how many of you have bought your Evos because they have backseats, trunk space, and are pretty practical for everyday use with whatever you need it for, or if you bought the Evolution becuase of it's superior performance in accelerating, braking, turning, and modability.

I bought SPECIFICALLY for both reasons mentioned. I wanted something that would already be as fast as my previous DSMs, but with a warranty while also being able to tote kid/wife/dog around easily. What I didn't realize was how incredible it was in the twisties until I did my first auto-x...now I'm hooked.

well i guess it should be like this, if the evo didn't have 4 doors, and didn't have trunk space, would you have still bought it, just based on it's performance features?

No, I would have gotten one of the current Cobras or a C5, since you could get them for like 10-12k under invoice once the C6 was announced. I'm not in the market for a 2 door (or 2-seater), so I got the Evo.

both. but being four doors and all wheel drive and a big trunk, basically anything practical made me want it that much more. a both button is def. needed
