Well I saw most people complained how bad the background music was in the Evo 8 commercial... well here goes.. the music was just perfect to what they were trying to depict with the two cars..

The Red Car is supposed to be the "Lady".. the Silver one is the "Gentleman".. The two cars are supposed to be doing the a Jive dance recital !!! That is why you see the Red "Lady" car is twisitng and twirling like in an actual dance act..!!

Did anyone else firgure it out??

All I can say is I want to be the red car, except...a guy, and a black car.

that's an interesting interpretation of that commercial. the choice of music is out of the ordinary. it does sort of look like the two cars are dancing on the road. why else would they put two cars in the commercial? in 99% of car commercials, we just see one.

how many times did you watch the commercial in a row before you came to your conclusion?

have you studied film-making or dance choreography

were you using any mind-altering substances?

My only question is how are the cars dancing? With that kind of music you'd think they would be in sync. To me it seems more like a guy is strolling through and see's some hot ***. The girl doesn't want any of it so she runs, but she likes the persistence of the guy and plays with him...plays with him...with him...him. Anyhow most of the shots show the red car in head, but near the end you see the silver car in head(thus she likes him).

 

ya they were definetly dancing now that i think about it, and the red car at the end was going out for the spin from the guy

Umm it was a commercial. It showed speed, power and agility not freakin dancing. If anyone thought it was a dance they either are on something that I want to be on aswell. Or.... well I dont want to say anything about limp wristed camaro drivers in this forum but you know how they like to take it. (pillow biter expression)

Yes it is a great commercial showing the nature of the car. One pushing the limits while the other just holding on and going for a cruise. Nothing else! Nothing more!

 

Gimme a break. Interpretive analysis is good. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's exactly what the ad agency people were trying to do. Subliminal sexual overtones, you know.
But really, we could definitely make a much better commercial. I'm serious. Give it over to some serious die-hard enthusiasts like us and we'll have all the sheep wanting to be hangin with the wolves. Gonna miss the freaked out heroin-junkie chick though.

 

Was there a need to speed the commercial up?...what are they saying?
