Evo Noises

One day I decided to check the tire pressure, and the dang pressure was 49psi all around! I let air out to the factory recommended pressure, and it felt like I got a new set of shocks!
Reading nothing but forum postings and magazine reviews would have you believe that an Evo is as noisy inside as a dump truck. I was surprised, when I finally got to drive an Evo for the first time, how overstated the issue really is. Yes, the tires are noisy. All performance tires are. The transmission whines. The air intake makes hissing sounds. The car creaks and groans over bumps. It's all part of the nature of what the car is. My wife's 1999 Honda CR-V is noisier inside than my Evo. It really isn't that big of a deal.
I got a silver with SSL. Picked silver for stealth reasons (on it doesn't look dirty even after a few weeks of CA dust).
Red is the best looking color but you have to open a new bank account for speeding and other tickes right away. Blue a little more descrete.
Noisy - u betcha! I can't even hear the upgraded sound system a freeway speeds. An it's not just tire noise. I'll invest in soundproofing next. I had a Lexus GS400 with Nakamitchi sound - that was great for highway cruising.
No creaks on bumbs, just tranmission, engine and exhaust noise that comes into the cabin.
Ride? Try it out. You are really in touch with the road -good and bad. Beats the heck out of you on bad roads. Came back from a long drive to LA and was rattled good. Funny thing was that after 2 hours of this you develop a feel for the road and driving that you don't get in a family car. I'm getting some softer SP2 tires and MR shocks shortly and hopefully will get a smother ride without major handling compromises.

I have been talking to a guy who has an 03 Silver Evo forsale with 15k miles, and is asking $24,200 for it. From what he has listed, and what I can tell in the picture it is all stock. Thats the reason I was going for silver, but if I could find a blue one.. then that might change.
Now that a lot of you said black is nice, Im interested in black.. because I too like black on the Evo.
