I wouldn't even think about buying an Evo for that cheap. Don't do it!

I had the same thing happen to me when I was looking for a Supra. It was hooked up and all. They wrote me some bull**** about the company went bankrupt and they had to liquidate all their assets or some crap like that and all they were asking for it was 9k. So I was emailing back and forth to the guy and he said that I had to send a downpayment of 3k to get the car shipped and after it arrived had to pay the remaining balance. Needless to say every email I got from him he kept asking when I was going to send the payment. Finally I "told him" I sent it, and do know what this jackass replied back to me..."HAHA I got your money stupid ***!" So I just emailed E-bay about it and BOOM they got him for internet fraud...they tell me he's in jail now. Funny thing is I never sent any payment...all in all, like they said before...If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Keep lookin.

Either its too good to be true, a email money scam, or a deal of a life time. I've seen stranger deals in NY thats for sure.

Lemme guess, you found it on cars.com? is it blue? It's a HUGE scam. He wants you to send him a 5K deposit in an escrow account. he also claims that the car is in NJ and he's in the UK. Please he's full of crap!!!! I went and bought an evo from a dealer.

It's way too good to be true, because it isn't.
