10K for an 03 evo

found an 03 lancer evo for $10,300
and was shocked i have emailed the guy if there was anything wrong with the car today and so far no answer
i was wondering if you would buy this car
the outside of it looks great but there is only one picture and it is of the left side
it gives the description of the engin so i am sure that is included but how is it possible for some1 to sell a 03 evo for $10,300 if it something cosmetic im sure it will be an easy fix but i want your opinion on what you might do

I dont even think a salvage goes for 10Gs. Probably 15Gs

ANyway, does anyone wanna bet that when he receives an email back from the "seller," he's gonna get a message that reads something similar to this: Dear Buyer, I am currently in Italy (or somewhere) and blah blah blah. Please send me Western Union to a name of a friend of your's so I know you have the money. Then I'll ship you the car. If u like the car, then switch the name to my name so I can get the money.

10Gs, i dont think so. Please dont fall for it. Even Bill Gates wont give away a car for so cheap.

salvage titles r usually half or less of the wholesale value. which makes them go for 10-13k. plus anything that sounds 2 good 2 be true, usually IS! BUYER BE WARE!!!!!!!!!

Rebuild savage is worth up tp 75%, never more. Even the salvage title is worth about 16k. Definately a scam, or else the seller is on crack.

Your car is considered to be salvaged if the value to fix it exceeds what it's worth. I have also heard if a car is stolen it may be considered salvaged. That's only if the insurance company paid out for it.
