Dear Customer,

I must apologize for the error in the ad.The car is located in Hamilton,NY you don't worry about the shipping because the car will be shipped to your location without any extra costs because the shipping fees are included in the final price. First of all, I like to inform you that the car is in excellent running and body condition never had an accident and there are no flaws on it or any other mechanical problems. There is no lien against the car and the car has not been salvaged. It has a clear title and it will be signed and notarized in your name as soon as the payment will be completed. The buy it now price is $10,300 including shipping costs anywhere in the continental US. There are no other costs regarding this transaction. I recently moved with my family and now we are in Birmingham,United Kingdom. Since I lost my job and I didn't found one here yet,I have to sell this car as soon as possible and due to the fact that this car is an US model the price to register it here is very high, also the shipping to this place, so I've decided to sell it in US at a price that will find a buyer in a few days.
This is the vin# JA3AH86F33U123746. Have manual transmission and only 21,242 miles.

If you are still interested please let me know.

Thanks,
James

to good to be true, unless you drive it first and do the transaction in person. A lot of people do the same thing, it sucks and its a total scam.

Besides look at his grammer, and how would you afford to live in the UK if you lost your job? Hes probably located in Nigeria or in Europe tryin g to get a buck. There are no internet fraud laws over there. Whatever you do see through this and go for a more realistic price.

this is a total scam, these guys won't even let you come look at the car and pay cash (as if there is any car to look at in the first place) there looking for somebody dumb enough to pay a deposit or whatever and then you will never hear from them again. if it is to good to be true....

In N.C If the repair pasts %25 of the fair market price it is marked as a salvage title. Mine had a side skirt, windshield, fender, front bumper cover, and door replaced. Now it has salvage history but I may get lucky and not have a branded salvage title because I am currently at %21...

i was wondering if you would buy this car
the outside of it looks great but there is only one picture and it is of the left side
it gives the description of the engin so i am sure that is included but how is it possible for some1 to sell a 03 evo for $10,300 if it something cosmetic im sure it will be an easy fix but i want your opinion on what you might do

In an Escrow transaction, doesn't the buyer have to give the go-ahead before the money is sent to the seller? Technically, you should be pretty safe if anything was to go wrong... just make sure that the person officiating the Escrow isn't his best friend in India.

Offer him $15k cash if you can test drive the car first. If he declines $5k over his asking price, report him to the police for suspicous activity. They may not be able to do anything, but they're a lot more likely to find something incriminating than you are. Besides, it may help to keep someone else from being ripped off.

No, see HE wants to be the creater of the escrow account. Which will give HIM full power to do w/ the money as he pleases. YOU being the buyer are the on who opens the account. It's a scam. I checked into it before I bought my evo. It's all a scam.

Yeah...don't believe it. I know everyone is saying it's a "scam" but honestly...I think that there is something he is hiding. At one time I was looking at a 2003 Mini Cooper S and found one online with 16,000 miles for $15,000. For any of you who know those cars, they are order only. I work at Patrick BMW/Mini in Illinois, and the BASE Mini's that we sell have to be ordered and are at least $18 brand new with NO options...so I knew that was too good to be true. I don't know if it's going to be a Western Union scam, but, my guess is that the guy will take your money and flee. Personal advice from someone who has gotten taken from buying off of Ebay and the internet...if it's too good to be true, it's not that it isn't, it's that you will pay DEARLY for the mistake.
