I really wish I had the time and money to dump into a full on race car so I could run against you guys Ill be happy when I finally hit the damned 10.99.

 

Al, I have alot of respect for what you have done, like I said this is just all in fun, your the fastest right now and the one to beat. With your advantages of tires, small brakes, nitrous and open exhaust I have my hands full, this will be a great shootout, doesn't matter what class you run, go for the record for nitrous and I will just try to lower the no nitrous record, fair?

 

Heads up? My money will definately be on Curt.

 

I agree.. The man is insane for 60fts with one heck of a reaction time.. look at any major event (NDRA last week even) Brent Rau ran a quicker ET and faster mph, but lost b/c he was 8 tenths slower at the tree. Thats where heads up all start. No buddy is as cool as Curt at the line.

My money is on Mr Brown.. Al, call a street race if you dont want to race in the heads up class at the shoot out, then there is no times to worry about like you were saying, and no one uses the famous "my car messed up or broke" line! If it does, it does, that means you didnt prepeare your car and its not reliable!! You said you ran Martin outside of his shop before, this is no different. Its for Braggin rights, besides it would make one hell of an internet video

I just watched the vid of Curt running the 10.xx on the stock turbo.. nice driving.. makes me want to get launch control.

Yes Buschur is having his open house and dyno competition. I just wanted poeple to realize that Norwalk isn't open.

Yes there will be a big gathering at Buschur on Saturday - this year there will also be a AWD dyno contest all day and the usual other activities. To me the open house at Buschur is just as fun as the race itself.

 

Cool beans Al.. What kinda dyno is used there?? Mustang?? I'd be interested in throwin the evo up on there for fun.. dynojet would make me feel better
