Do U Guys Have This Problem?

Now that i got ur attention. I have a stock evo well only 3" exaust and downpipe. my question is this. Forgive me for saying this but when i first bought my evo 8 I expected to hear a cool blowoff valve sound. come it only had a quite one or not the less doesn't make any sound at all. I also hear alot about people with blowoff valve they get idle problems. I truly just want the sound like what a cool turbo makes on my stock evo without any idle problems . Is there anyone out that with a stock evo and added a blowoff valve and don't have any issues ? which one is better for a stock evo without any idle problems knowing that the evo is stock without increasing any boost.

aps dual vent or any of the dual vent bovs should help get the "cool" sound that you are looking for.

honestly the stock peice will hold stock boost FINE, but if u want the sound just get the turbo XS RFL one...figure out what RFL stands for..ill give you a hint, real F____ Loud. however i have the type S and its pretty loud already and no issues with stalling having done the single spring mod.

if you get the greddy first install it with 2 springs , then if you dont like it go to the single spring mod.
2 springs works fine for me

The greddy type s with the spring mod doesn't cause any idle problems but it does leak alittle bit. It does cause idle problems with both springs in. The APS is what I'm using now with no problems what so ever.
When I went from the type s with the spring to the APS with no other changes to my car the boost went up about 1.5lbs.

The Greddy Type S idles like stock, and has no stalling issues whatsoever as long as it is recirculated and has the single spring mod. Holds a 30 psi spike at the track for me just fine as well

Buy an intake and you can hear the BOV quite well. It's not as loud as my friends Greddy VTA, but my MR DV is plenty loud for me. I have the HKS RS intake with MR DV and it sounds awesome and no drivablility issues whatsoever untuned.
