Atta way to toot your own horn! BTW why are you so getting so worked up about warrtalon's posts?? He posts usefull, honest, information and its never in a manner meant to look down on someone. If you weren't so worried about where the spotlight was shining, you'd be able to let people make constructivly critisizing posts without the smart remarks that started this jamboree in the first place.

LOL @ having to use slicks to get a 1.6 60 foot. it's really not that hard. just good timing with the clutch and gas. Ive pulled probably 10+ 1.6x 60 foot times. Also there's a few people on this board that can vouch for my ability to launch.

like i said, my b est time on stock clutch is 1.62 and with my ACT it's also a 1.62

i did it with stock tires, and now im running some falken azenis st-115 255/40/17.

Also, im not saying im a great driver, but i do believe im better than aveage.

Wow! A couple days go by and 45 posts....

Hey guys! Thanks for all the thumbs up and GJ's!

Listen, I said I don't drag race so my best of 12.6 at 110mph was exciting! I do however road race and have made a pretty good impression with my MR winning several races and auto-x's.

Since I beat everything else from Japan and America for that matter at the drag strip that night, my 12.6 is a solid time!

And yes, on stock clutch and I didn't drop it! I am sure many of you who do drop your clutch can appreciate my time with my smoothe take off.

As for altitude........I need to find out! It was a great night......warm/cool.....not hot or to humid so the conditions were pretty good.

As for wartalon, I never looked for your times but throughout all the posts I assume drag racing is your thing! Great to see/read you're good at something. My thoughts on who has the best time at drag racing is nil...........the real test for drag racing is lining them up and seeing who gets to the end first. Call me when your in town and lets do it!

Then, lets go to the road race track where all my mods are put to use!

The neat thing is, talking about how fast our cars are on the EVO forum is a tough market because we all have one of the best cars on the planet!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I agree with what you're saying here, but it's not relevant to why I responded. You would roast me on the road course for many reasons: 1) I've never done it, 2) you are VERY experienced, and 3) you have an incredible setup for it. Believe me, I've read all of your posts and have kept up with all of your accomplishments. Great work and keep it up.

The purpose of my response is to let you know that you could/should/would be even FASTER with the current mods if everything was in proper order. I could care less whether you run an 11.6, 12.6, or 13.6, because that involves a lot more factors than just outright power. I think it's great that you can pull a 12.6 without killing your clutch, so the ET itself is not of any concern. The only concern I have is that you were only trapping 110 mph with mods capable of 113 on pump gas (93 oct) in average conditions. This doesn't even include the race gas you added. I know that just adding race gas doesn't suddenly make you Speed Racer, but it does allow for higher boost, leaner AFRs, reduced knock, and advanced timing. The result of these improved factors is usually a few mph. In my case, I went from doing 107-108 to doing 110-111. I know you just have a flash, so you aren' table to retune for race gas, but you would still expect some measurable improvement over pump gas.

All in all, I just want to see you whoop more *** when road racing, so I want you to be trapping 113-114 on race gas. At 110mph, you're not quite up to the potential of your mods, which means you're not quite as fast going down those long straightaways against the big HP cars. I am pretty sure that is important to you in maintaining your dominance!

Try lowering your tire pressure to 20PSI all around and getting your 1-2 shift down, you'll see a 2 tenth increase I promis you
Whoa, 20psi? I wouldn't recommend that unless he's having bad traction issues. I haven't once spun my stock Advans despite 10+ 12.2-12.3 runs at 109-111mph. He's trapping right in the middle of that, so I wouldn't expect him to be having traction issues unless the track sucks or unless he has bald/crappy tires. I have done all my launches at 35psi minimum on all 4, but my 1-2 shift is flawless.
