sorry to jack your thread....sure i got a ? can you Pm me relfash info like with the launch control, thinking about a reflash if you need to know mods. Intake (HKS) MBC with 19-20 but wouldnt mind runnning more if poss

He is old school... on the V8's if you got the bigger cams the valves would hit the piston......so you whould have to change **** ........

High lift, short duration cams are typically where you'd have a problem with valvesprings, and of course, contact with the piston if the valves were to float due to not enough spring pressure..

Most cams for the EVO that we typically see don't have high enough lift to do any harm they do most of their work with additional duration and a small amount of additional lift.. Except race cams which have much more lift.
