my question is simply,
can I pass emission with UR High flow cat(3 inch)?
and, can I pass emission with aftermarket header?

Should be able to... U have no CEL lights you passed!

 

does the cat throw a CEL? I really don't think it will pass, but it might barely. I have the works HFC and I think it will pass because it doesn't throw a CEL. I think that's how our cars are tested anyhow; by whether or not you have a CEL or something. I'm not sure if they put the sniffer in the tailpipe.

 

Move to florida and you don't have to worry about that crap.

A header on EVO should make no difference. If the UR cat is the right size for the car then it should work just fine to keep emissions happy. Be careful as you don't want to get fined!

 

so how do all the big boy pass emisssions? you guys with 272, 800cc injectors, big turbo, and a EMS? im just wondering cuz i might be in those shoes soon.

in 07' i will put back the stock ecu and maf sensor. and also put back the stock cat to catback.

 

u can also play it safe by just puting everythng stock bck on then put everything back after the emission test
