SIGH, I never said they didn't.

Do you think people who buy out the residual on their leases always finance the remainder with the company they bought the car from? I think not.
I never brought up anything about buying out a lease, what's your point? I'd imagine a lot of people go eslewhere for the best rate possible.

The point is the original guy who brought this up has an Evo financed at X%. Read this again please:

He is saving money by trading in and buying a new car with Mitsubishi at 0%. The question was asked why he didn't have his current car refinanced to better his current situation. He could not have done this any other way refinancing his car. Capital One (nor anyone else) does not offer 0% on an new Evo, why is this so hard to understand?

sorry to jump in here, but is there a way to tell what local dealers have in stock without actually calling or visiting?
unfortunately, all the mitsu dealers are a bit of a drive for me and calling usually results in being told a lie or 4 to get ya to the lot.

Many dealers have websites. You can try looking them up in a search. The Mitsubishi website has a locator for dealers near you in case you don't know their names.

1Purchase any new 2005 Mitsubishi on or before August 31, 2005, and you may be able to get 0% APR for 60 months. For 0% APR financing offer, that's 60 monthly payments of $16.67 per $1000 financed at 0% APR. Available through Mitsubishi Motors Credit. Subject to approved credit and insurance. May not be combined with any other financing offers. Not all customers will qualify. Actual prices set by retailers. Retailer price, terms and vehicle availability may vary. Customers must take delivery from retailer stock and contract must be signed by program end date of August 31, 2005. See your participating Mitsubishi Retailer for additional details.

That was my original plan on the car the day I bought it. I was going to re-finance at 5.25% at my local bank. This would save me about $3000. By trading in and bying the new one I save $3,500. Not much difference, but every penny counts right? Also I will take the brand new tires off the 05 I am trading in and swap them for the worn out beat to hell ones on my 03.

Keith

PS: Yup, that is $1000 a tire

My local dealership has a sale.
"EMPLOYEE PURCHASE PROGRAM-You Pay What We Pay Ends - August 31st"
Plus 0% for 5 years.
Could that be a great deal? Thinking about trading my 03 evo for 05 evo (or MR) if it is?

So 16.67 per $1000 financed thats roughly a little over $500 if you finance $30,000 correct?, thats amazing.

Also what is the exact invoice for an 05 gsr? I searched but was not able to confirm it.
