buyers are armed with the internet these days. SSL invoice is around 31,500 and no SSL should be around 28,000.

I realize thet net is a great tool to do some research but it pays to read the ENTIRE site. Check out the how TMV value is calculated and how invoice price information is gathered you might be suprised but the invoice price on emdunds is NOT the real price paid by dealers for the car because edmunds say so itself.
Here is a little clip from the site: "...Note that the invoice price is often not the net price paid by the dealer; the net price is determined by deducting any applicable dealer holdback from the invoice price."
Good luck guys I'll let you know how my battle works out later this week when I try and buy an evo8.

Good to know. When I go on the hunt this week I'll be able to gather better info for tri-state guys. I still don't agree with you on invoice price but I guess I'll find out soon.

I highly doubt it. When the Evo9's come out in october/novermber there will be no 0%. I would put any amount of money on it. Considering how much you save, its more than worth it in the long run to buy a month early. Remember that its a mitsubishi offer, and not just a certain dealership offering it. The dealerships themselves don't really give a **** if an EVO or two sits on the lot for an extended period of time, especially used. In a lot of cases it will be just enough to get people in the door.

Actually this is a real promotion herd it on the radio and asked the dealer. It includes all Mitsu's. including the EVO8. as quoted from commerical, " this includes the sport lancer evolution 8, roomy endevor.... etc"
