With my money down($6000)&TTL = financing $23,382 @ 5.95% 60 months = $451

Either I get the car for $26995 + TTL - downpayment or
I pay the dealer invoice 29,XXX + TTL - downpayment and get 0%

I'm going to see what my credit union offers me tomorrow, I am hoping in the 4.X% rate.

What are your opinions? Raped? Dealer tricks? The car has only 9 miles.

Thanks,
Scott
Tell them you want both. If they say no walk out the door. They will call. In the meantime call another dealer and ask if they will do it.

sk8,

Chances are they'll only offer you the car at $26,995 if you take the financing from them (this way they make some money). If you walk in with your own financing at a lower rate and ask for the $26,995 price they'll probably tell you to take a hike.

I'd jump on the 0% for 60 months deal ASAP...........isn't it only valid for 1 month ?

They have had the same 8 or so Evos for the past 2 months.

They said $26995 price stood, even if I brought in my own financing. Which I'm looking into.

If you go the 0% route, a cheaper option is to keep your down payment in the bank and earn something for it while you make payments on the car, and finance the who thing at 0%. Can you get the 0% without a down payment?

Yes, 0% no minimum needed down. I got the invoice price down to $28495+TTL w/0% but I'm still not sold.
