I love jealous people....
Well tonight I was just out with my some of my friends just going to grab some ice cream. Well the place we were getting ice cream from happens to be right next to the movie theatre which happens to be a really busy hangout for young teenagers....so im just thinking greaaattt, another night of kids walking about to question me about my car, put their hands all over it to look inside, etc(you guys know what im talking about 
) So I pull by the theatre and find a spot far from the reach of any young inquisitive teens. Well after going inside to grab ice cream and walk outside I immediately chirping tires...im thinking great a ricer wants to run me in his civic, but no its a 1990 explorer packed with 6 kids . They start yelling at me "evos are slow this things got a hemi!" and "you hear that blow off valve man that was soooo sickkk man that evo blew off like PSSSSSSS! pSSSSSS!" They were being really sarcastic trying to mock my evo i guess. Now keep in mind that they are making fun of my evo from a 1990 green explorer which is packed full of people and covered in rust and sounds like it barely runs. Why do people feel the need to do that? They are just jealous deep down and it makes me feel good to know that they actually can try to put the car down to make themselves feel better about being in that ****ty explorer.
well i just wanted to know how you guys feel about this when people do this to you? I just tend to ignore them and not even give them the time of day, how do you usually react?

Sorry to hear. I've had no negative experiences yet but I'm sure it'll happen someday. There are a lot of ignorant people out there. Ignoring them was appropriate. Enjoy your ride, and you're right, they probably were jealous.
that happens here alot as well. we have alot of cheap a$$e$ here in AZ so people either say "there's no way i would spend $30k on a car" OR "you must be doing something illegal to afford that" . it was the biggest shocker to people when i worked graveyards at a circle K & had the yellow '03 shining out front.

I get crap like that a lot...usually it's the guys in the car yelling and the girls are looking like they wish they were in there with me. 
Or there's a solo retard who thinks he's just as fast as you becuase his car USED to be a fast one. I was coming home last night and I could see some P.O.S. with Japanese letters on the windshield right behind me. After coming up, dropping off, coming up, dropping off for about 3 miles...he flies up next to me and starts revving. Now, we're going 45ish in a 40 and he keeps revving it and looking at me. I looked over, turned down the radio, and yelled "WTF are you doin dumbass?!" He starts pointing at the side of his car, so I lift out of my seat a little to see...it says TURBO on it. At least that's what I think it said, most of the paint from the car was missing. I looked again and he's pointing at his boost gauge. After hitting the breaks and getting behind him I saw the huge exhaust tilted at an angle (melting his bumper) and the "turbo lebaron" on what was left of the paint on the trunk. We were coming up on an on-ramp to the highway...so I let him know if he wants to find out how slow his car is...I'll show him. He turned left twice and pulled into his driveway.

Here is my story. I am 16 and there are a couple people I know that are absolutely jealous that I have an Evo. I am talking about people who are like 18 at school. Also just yesterday when I was driving on a busy street (Randall Rd.) some guy got pissed off because he kept hearing my BOV go off. He was in a Lexus IS300 and started calling me a little punk *** rich bastard and what not. I just ignored him and passed him. Theres no need to get pissed off. Just remember what your driving and what the other guy is driving.

I drive a 05 Yellow EVO and my car attracts a lot of attention, from bystanders, ricers, soccer moms and dads etc.
I love when ricers try to race me or pass by me thinking they can beat me....
For the most part I have dusted many of them, and for those that have run side by side with me... couldnt lose me from their rear bumper lol.....
In addition I have a stock-like, quiet 3" TBE, and when I sail right by the ricers with their loud fart cans they're wondering what hit them.
