besides using 25 chargers for the movie, the cahse car filiming all of the driving scenes was an evo with 200,000 worth of camera gear on its roof. cool picture of th echarger with the evo in the background.

Pretty cool, reminds me of that M5 commercial with all the cameras hanging of of it. Pretty cool that Rhys Millen was doing the driving too, I guess they know who to call

wrc evos are about 300 hp, and the engines are readily available. the engine in a wrc car isn't really where the cash is, the suspension, transmission and diffs are where the big $$$ are.

OK first off.......it was a $200,000 Camera on the nose of the Evo not a Evo with $200k of work done to it.

Second of all......the Evo was a Former Millen Rally Car.

I love this paragraph

"You know what's cool about that specific piece is that I have never seen that style of driving in a movie before," continues Scott, "particularly sustained as long as we did. And I'm talking about really close proximity. There was one time that Rhys said, 'Hey, I know you're really close, because I can hear the turbo bypass in the Evo going off.'"
