There is another grudge night coming up this Friday!! I am trying to get together other Evo owners to come out to Maple Grove Raceway.


Friday, August 26th.
Gates open 4:00 p.m., racing 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Race entry $25, crew/spectator $8.00

The fee is for all night, as many 1/4 mile runs as you can. It depends how many cars are there. Usually 4-5 runs can be expected, maybe more.

You will need a helmet if you expect to run under 13.9.

Hopefully we can get some interest going and make it a good showing for Evo owners. Please reply if you think you might be able to make it. See you at the track!

When i went to maple grove last time I was the ONLY evo there. =/

 

btw if you're running 13.99 or quicker you need a helmet, and MG has strict tech too.

 

You know, that working thing is overrated. You need to take off and come down to hang out with some Evo owners from the Reading area!

Thanks for clearing up the helmet thing. I thought it was necessary. I sure hope I am under 13.9 with 300+ WHP.

I couldn't break 12s.

 

I don't think I am going to break 12 sec either, but I am going to give it my best shot. Maybe with a little race gas, advance the timing a little with my Utec, and up the boost 1-2 psi, I may get close anyway.

Just looking to go out and see what I can do....

I would go but I am getting ready for honda day tommorw at e-town. And you need a helmet for 13.99 and faster. And the helmet has to be approved also they look for the stickers. Good luck getting a lot of runs in. Everytime I go there I only get about 3 runs.

 

I went to the track the last time they had Grudge Night and it was alot of fun. Got to run against a newer Corvette and smoked him the first run. I only ran a 13.6, but it was nice to get a win right off the bat.

I will be going again this Friday so hopefully some of you from the area will be able to make it.
