Upgrading to Stage 3 - ???
Well, my last thread was deleted which was my fault. I posting a racing thread and didn't see the rule up above. Oh well. Learn something everyday.
Anyway, looking to upgrade to Buschur Stage 3. I'll be getting the recommended CAMs but not the intercooler. Instead, I think I'm going with bigger injectors and a fuel pump along with a re-flash.
My question is, will there be a noticeable difference with these three mods along with a re-flash? I hoping so for the $$$$$. (Current Stage 2 / 93 oct / 20psi)
Thanks,

Thanks,
why do you want bigger injectors?
Az3ar is right in asking and hinting that the injectors would be a pointless mod at this point, wait for turbo upgrade.. The walbro 255 works fine with the stockers at the level your at.
Im sorry I dont know buschurs stagesd upgrades but if it were me I would stick with a staged plain, if david says the fmic is the way to go, then get the fmic.. If not I would save the money, not waste it on injectors.
Great setup for street would look something like this
some sort of fuel managment and tuneing
full turboback exhaust
cams/ cam gears (what combo you get is up to you)
fuel pump
there are alot of other things you could throw in that wouldnt really help and could hender performance. Im not sure that a fmic is needed untill you get a larger fmic but if david from bushchur says so.. He knows alot more than I.
honestly I would get with a tuner that you feel you can trust and take there recomindations. For example I put alot of trust into Andrew at dyno4mance. He has always helped me come up with the best setup for "me" not his pocket book.

The injectors were only added into Stage 4 back in the beginning because we were tuning with an AFC. With an AFC and the factory fuel cut intact we needed the larger injectors to lean out the AFC which in turns raises your fuel cut.
You do NOT need larger injectors if you are sticking with the stock turbo. Don't waste you money on them. The fuel pump is good insurance, but the injectors with the stock turbo for most guys is a waste of money.
Now that only applies if you use the flash, as the re-flash will get rid of the fuel cut.
Thanks guys,
