This would pretty much apply to any car. At 350whp...you're probably looking at at least 440 to the crank...thats a lot of juice to handle!

Well it is very close to that as the conservative tune of 345whp on my "winter"ecu
had no problems, then upped boost, turned on alky injection and on 1st pull at 29 psi
with alky slipped, instantly, that was at only 360whp,then tuned it for some Real power and slipped every pull there after, even brought it up to 5k to start pull,as to be well past peak torque #'s and as power increased so did slipping.Granted,as quickly as it slipped,it heated up and then grabbed again, but disc had already been "glazed" so getting any kind of torque reading was pointless at that point, just was trying to give it a good,Safe tune with as much power as clutch would hold.
See if I can kill this stocker just like I did last years stocker at the Shoot-out,but even still with a clutch that would not move vehicle until 6000 rpm's I still was getting 1.71 60' times, 3 in a row, just reaction times sucked as it is hard to cut a light like that.

well im not sold on " its in the way you drive", but my clutch is d.o.n.e! i have 15k on it. i launched it several times and drove it aggressive but not hard. i drove a wrx for about 5months so i wasnt a noob to awd and i have been driving stick for about seven years so that isnt it. i honestly think tha clutch sucks on them but i cant say its like that on all of them. i do believe some people got worked with a crap clutch and some people that have loads of shiat done say the clutch is grabbing like they just bought it but at the same time theres people that are stock and there clutch went out the window after a few months ya know? but i do refuse to believe they are all like that, as well as i dont believe that i caused it to slip. i have owned various cars and even tha car i learned on had a good clutch till i sold it. so, just my .02 cents. sorry for tha long post im just sad that my car is so damn slo now, and i cant afford 1800 bucks the dealer quoted.

34k on my stocker and it probably had another 10k left on it. It's all about how you drive. I have an Exedy twin now so I'm a little more aggressive off the line

2004 is just as bad.

Ever since I put my cams in the throw out bearing rattles way worse then before. I heard this is a sign that the clutch is on the way out, any truth to that?

IMNSHO, if you're not drag racing the car every weekend and your clutch lasted less than 20K miles, then you NEED to get driving lessons.

31K on stock clutch, still going strong.
