The 3rd EVO vs. WRX/STi Shootout (two in New Jeresey and one in Ohio) is less than a week away and honestly all the signs are pointing torwards another blowout (although I could be wrong). With that said my active imagination is already considering what would be other great shootout matchups with the EVOs. I've made a list and poll of other possibilities that I would love to see setup by the powers that be, which of these matchups would gain your interest and possible involvement-

1) EVO vs. SRT-4 Shootout

2) EVO vs. 350Z/G35 Shootout

3) EVO vs. RX-8 Shootout (Joking )

4) EVO vs. BMW 3 and 5 Series Shootout

5) EVO vs. A4/S4 Shootout

6) EVO vs. Mustang GT and Mach 1 Shootout (Sorry no Cobras, maybe in a year or two)

7) EVO vs. 3000GT VR4/Stealth R/T Shootout

8) EVO vs. RSX Type S Shootout

9) EVO/DSM vs. Honda Shootout (Them hatchbacks can be fast, battle of the 4 Cylinders)

10) EVO/DSM vs. LS1 Camaro and Firebird Shootout (The EVO is very fast and getting faster by the day, but gonna need the help of the DSMs and their longer history to take on the LS1s)

11) EVO/DSM vs. Supra Shootout (Same as above)

12) EVO vs. 03/04 Cobra Shootout (gonna be tough, may need the DSMs help)

13) EVO/DSM vs. 03/04 Cobra Shootout

IMO, I and many other car enthusiasts would really like to see somebody shut those SRT-4 owners up (not all are a**holes). So I would love to see an EVO vs. SRT-4 Shootout, if it could happend what would you like to see happend? Just like the EVO vs. WRX/STi Shootout this weekend, an autocross course would be included, also a dyno competition against some, forget about it against the dyno queen Supras though. Are there any matchups that you feel that the EVO wouldn't stand a chance even if DSMs are included?

i would like to see an evo vs supra shootout. i know the other ones are good competition but supras, in my opinion, are the ultimate street cars and make tons of power. i would like to see how they evos would do against them at the track when both cars would have drag radials, even street tires would be nice.

the main reason i would like to see this is the fact that the supra guys talk alot of smack about the evo, just go to their forum and search evo.

i wouldnt wanna race some of the single turbo supras, cauz ive put mine up against my evo, and all i can say when they see some traction say good-bye

 

I know the Supra guys would be down, they'll race anybody. They are so cocky that they already had a Shootout with the Vipers. I wonder who won

I want to see Evo vs. 4g63 powered cars (all the cars that's powered by 4g63, but not evo).

EVO vs 4 banger turbo that's boosting more than 20psi.

EVO vs. all other 4G63s would be tough, it's not that the EVO is not capable of putting up the numbers as theirs, just that the other 4G63 cars have been around a lot longer in the USA. Currently at the pace the EVOs are going, in 5 or 6 years, the EVO will easily surpass all the other 4G63 equipped cars.
