There is a dealer in Knoxville moving base EVO 8's for 27.5k He is getting about 4 or so a week and selling them fast. Hope he will be cutting deals on 9's when they come out.

If you are wanting payments around 350-470 I hope they will give you alot more for your car than you owe. You said you are willing to pay 28600 with 1.9% which is going to be more than the 470 a month that you want to spend. With a credit score of 678 ( not horrible but sure is not really good) you will not qualify for 0% financing. When people tell you to do you own leg work instead of asking what others paid is because if one person gets a car for $XXXXX does not mean that you will be able to get one for the same price. The last I heard dealerships were not best buy that does price matching. They do not care if some other dealership 1500 miles away sold a car to some person you have never met a car for $X.

The OTD (out the door) price is exactly what it says it is how much you pay for the car+TTL+ all of the other stupid fees car dealerships add on (like doc. fees).
My advice would be to go into a dealership with a few things ready. I would get a interest rate quote from a bank of credit union, what car you want and how much you are willing to pay. Go talk to the salesman and come up with a price you can live with (don't let them run your credit yet). Then talk to the finance people and find out what they can do for financing if they cannot beat your bank or credit union tell them you have a better offer.

If someone can help me and guide me in the right direction of getting a new evo with 0% and 0 down I would really appreciate it!! PM me if you can help me out! or like some of the other guys paying the 1.9% at 28,600 is good too, because I wouldn't mind having my payments between $350-$470!! I also have another interested EVO owner that is willing to do the same, if we both get the same deal together I WOULD APPRECIATE THE RESPONSE BEFORE THE ADD ENDS THANKS!

I'm a finance director for a dealership and 678 is no where near good you'll be looking around 5.5-7%APR. I suggest go to a credit union first and secure your loan with a good rate. Once you have that take your blank cashier's check and negotiate the price with the dealership. They don't need to discount the car if the spply is real low in the area so you may want to contact fleet or internet departments and see what you find. You also can't get the sunroof unless you get the SSL package and even if you can get Mitsu employee discount which is 1.5% it's still around 31K + T&L. Face it refinance your car and get the extended warranty. Find out what your pay off is cuz you'll be lucky to get 18K for a 36K mile evo. Don't forget to add your negative equity on top of the price of your new car

If you are willing to come out to California, the best Mitsu dealer that everyone
talks about seems to be Huntington Beach Mitsubishi.

Wont hurt to call and explain your situation.

That's a suggestion to you can do everything over the phone and pay to have the car shipped to you but you're probably going to have to sell your car on your own

Add interest (didn't qualify for 0% since my credit <700 but got 4% through my credit union) and TTL and my OTD was about $34,300. Altogether, I saved about $2700. Hope this helps.
OTD doesn't usually include interest, it is the price that the dealer sees for the car when it goes out the door, financing is on top of that.

in your example, the price of $31,750 + ttl puts you around $33750 depending on location. that $33,750 is what you're paying for the car, so that is what they pass along to your financing company. your financing company then charges you interest on $33,750 for a period of, say, 5 years, and you end up paying $37,293.44 for your car after interest, a total of $3,543.44 in interest, and your monthly payments are around $621.56. financed at 0%, however, you're only going to pay $33,750 and your monthly payment will be $562.50.

ps - the price i will pay tomorrow for an 05 with SSL is $31850 + ttl (~$2000) so out the door will be ~$33850, plus ~$1000 negative rolling over from my previous car, all financed at 0%.
