Looking For A Dealer!!!
Ok guys, here's the delima that i'm in, I have a 03 evo with 36000 miles give or take, and i want to trade it in, and go with the 0% and 0 down and get a lower payments on a new evo
I need the dealership to payoff my evo before i get into another one, I've been reading that these 05's are going for 26-28 out the door, I'm not looking for the SSL package or anything fancy, i just want the electric blue with the sunroof, which my 03 has, I live in New Mexico and i'm willing to travel just in the west to buy my EVO...I have really good credit, my score is a 678, i'm scared to run my credit again, because its been going down since i've seen this add!
reason being, because of the dealers here in Las Cruces looking at it and the dealership in El Paso, Texas that wasted my time today!!I visited both dealers and they can't beat the prices that i've been telling them about that other people have been getting there new EVO's for, or they don't believe that this add is running!!
If someone can help me and guide me in the right direction of getting a new evo with 0% and 0 down I would really appreciate it!! PM me if you can help me out!
or like some of the other guys paying the 1.9% at 28,600 is good too, because I wouldn't mind having my payments between $350-$470!!
I also have another interested EVO owner that is willing to do the same, if we both get the same deal together
I WOULD APPRECIATE THE RESPONSE BEFORE THE ADD ENDS
THANKS!

Usually when you take the dealer 0% deal you are not going to get as good of price on the car as if you got your own financing and took all the dealer rebates off. Have you ever heard something like "0% financing or $5000 cash back". It usually all ends up being about the same $$$ you pay in the end.
This deal might be different because I don't know if Mitsu has any special rebates that you could qualify for if you don't take the 0%. You will just have to ask around.

Just because someone gets x deal at one dealership doesnt mean your going to get the same one. If you are serious you would do the leg work and visit the ones in your area to get a deal worked out and wouldnt just be talking about it online.
'Out the Door' (OTD) means the price negotiated, plus interest (if any) plus tax, title and license. MSRP (and Invoice) is the price before all the above. For example, I paid $31,750 for my '05 tarmac black with SSL which is about $500 below invoice. Add interest (didn't qualify for 0% since my credit <700 but got 4% through my credit union) and TTL and my OTD was about $34,300. Altogether, I saved about $2700. Hope this helps.
Oops.....forgot to add State tax into the equation for my orginal monthly payment estimates below (which is either 5% or 7.5% where you live). So, whichever way you slice it, the only conceivable way you could get your monthly payment below $450 on a new Evo, would be to purchase a new "RS" (well) below invoice AND get the 0% deal......that would get you close to $450 pcm.
Best way to work it out is to go to www.edmunds.com and calculate the invoice price for the Evo you're interested in including all the options you want. Figure that you may, at best, be able to negotiate $1000 below this value if you're very lucky. If you then qualify for the 0%, 60 months deal, then simply divide this price by 60 to give you an approximate monthly amount.
So based on "redza's" deal (post above) where he negotiated a price of $31,750 for a car which included the SSL package (at $500 below invoice), you would be looking at $529 per month for 5 years if you qualified for the 0% deal. If you could live without the sunroof (i.e. didn't go for the SSL package) I guess your monthly payment might drop to around $479 with the 0% deal. To get your payments lower than this (without a downpayment) you're only option is a new "RS" which isn't available in electric blue and isn't available with a sunroof.
With a credit score of 678, it's unlikely you'll qualify unless you have a co-signee (who has the required credit score).

I'm lucky enough to be married so my wife and I put in for a joint application. With my salary and her credit, we got the 4% through our credit union. The only reason we didn't qualify for 0% was because apparently I had a derogotary statement from 3 months ago that I need to check out because it's not right. So lesson of the day is, run a credit report just before you buy, not 6 months before you buy!
But if you can get a co-signer/joint applicant, you should have no problem getting the 0% if your credit doesn't have a derogotary statement like mine and your co-signer is Tier 1 (>700). Good luck!

do you guys not understand whats going on....I need to find a dealer with reasonable pricing and go from their, i'm the only ONE with good credit so I can't get no co-signer, thats why i asked for a salesmans name in the west coast, I live in New Mexico, so somewhere close to me would be good! I don't need to run more credit checks because the points on my score will go down....
